Waist length hair was my ultimate goal when I began my healthy hair journey. Looks as though it is finally sight!!!! Beyond excited about my progress and the overall health of my hair. I am due for a relaxer in October, so with great care I hope to meet my goal by Christmas 2012 ; )
I wish I had found this blog earlier! Its great... My hair has grown tremendously since I keep sew-in's intow, but I notice that my edges are thin from ponytails and sew-ins. I perm my hair every six months so I figure that's not the problem. What are some recommendations of products and things I can do to strengthen my hair? I would love thick, healthy, and long hair....
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend reading my post from the long hair pioneer herself, Wanakee Pugh. Her methods are tried and true and will work for anyone's hair! I would suggest sticking to natural products free of chemical additives, and suffocating petroleum and mineral oils. Great brand lines to try are Bee Mine, Shea Moisture, Phyto, and Carol's Daughter.
