Waist length hair was my ultimate goal when I began my healthy hair journey. Looks as though it is finally sight!!!! Beyond excited about my progress and the overall health of my hair.  I am due for a relaxer in October, so with great care I hope to meet my goal by Christmas 2012 ; )

  1. I wish I had found this blog earlier! Its great... My hair has grown tremendously since I keep sew-in's intow, but I notice that my edges are thin from ponytails and sew-ins. I perm my hair every six months so I figure that's not the problem. What are some recommendations of products and things I can do to strengthen my hair? I would love thick, healthy, and long hair....

    1. I highly recommend reading my post from the long hair pioneer herself, Wanakee Pugh. Her methods are tried and true and will work for anyone's hair! I would suggest sticking to natural products free of chemical additives, and suffocating petroleum and mineral oils. Great brand lines to try are Bee Mine, Shea Moisture, Phyto, and Carol's Daughter.
